BAYSIDE CEMETERY ADDENDUM NOTES

# 1 The research on this project was started some two decades ago. Information was extracted by a number of people some took more and some less as there was no “form to fill out”. One of the problems dealing with these early records is they were all hand written. Some of the “undertakers” were barely literate in English making it difficult at times to decipher any information they wrote. One must take this into consideration when doing research and some ones name doesn't make sense. We all did the best we could.

# 2 Note: From Adam Stolpen, great-grandson of Isaac Haft, former president of Shaare Tsedek. Barney Haft is the baby brother of Adam's grandmother. Name actually is David Haft not Barney according to family. Buried in the Haft- Marks family plot in Bayside Cemetery. (see Hyman S. Haft)
