KRANT
Description Looking for any survivors from Tishevitz, Poland with information. I don't have much information, but this is what I know:
My grandfather, Abush Krant (English Albert Krant), was one of 8(?) siblings. I was told he was the only survivor from his family because he left Tishevitz, Poland in the 1920's to marry his sweetheart, Belle Greener, who had already emigrated to the US.
My father, Melvin J Krant, was in possession of a diploma from a university from Poland for one of the siblings that was a lawyer.

KWASNEY OR KWASNY
Description ADOLPH KWASNY or KWASNEY

Herman RING was the first husband of Helena RING and he died in Byrstra, Poland on July 21, 1884.
Our suspicions are that Helena RING was married twice. We believe she married Adolph KWASNEY or KWASNY after Hermans's death. We also believe that Helene and Adolph had a child after immigrating to the United States. The child was Felix Michael KWASNEY or KWASNY who was born in Bridgeport, CT in 1893.

Our search is focusing on the surname KWASNEY or KWASNY. Felix Michael KWASNEY later changed his name to the surname to RING. Felix is believed to be a half brother to Leopold, Clementine, John, and Salca RING.

More About ADOLPH KWASNY (SURNAME IS A POSSIBILITY):
Burial: Unknown, unknown
Destination: 1892, Hoboken, NJ
Nationality: 1892, Citizen of the U.S.A.
Occupation: 1892, Stonecutter
Residence: 1892, Bremen, German
Travel: September 08, 1892, Arrived Ellis Island on the Elbe.

A newspaper article from 1896 denotes a man missing from the Bridgeport, CT area with the name KWASNEY. It reads:

"Demented Man Missing
Bridgeport, CT October 28 1896 -
The police are looking for Adolph Kwasney, a German, of Fairfield, who recently lost his reason. His family is wealthy. He was recently discharged from a sanitarium and was to sail for Europe on Saturday. He took a horse and wagon with him."

We firmly feel that this may be my great-grandfather and the father of Felix Michael KWASNEY or KWASNY.
