TANUR
Description Tanurs from Lithuania emigrated to the United States, Mexico, South Africa, Argentina (Buenos Aires), and the UK. In addition to still living in the above countries, Tanurs are living in Australia and Israel. In Lithuania, most lived in the Gubarnate of Kaunas (Kovno), in particular the cities of Raseiniai, Shedlova (Silova), Skuodas (Skud), (some time spent in) Jurbakas (Yurburg), and Panevezys. Some spent parts of their lives in Latvia and Berlin as part of study or business. Some from our family tree changed the spelling of the surname to Tanner.

TZUDIKER
Description Moshe Tzudiker and Chaya Wechter met in Warsaw, Poland and Got married in Sokolow Podlaski, Poland ,in about 1917. Moshe Tzudiker was the son of Ze'ev and Rachel Tzudiker .Chaya was the daughter of Avram-Ber and Chana Wechter from Sokolow-Podlaski.Moshe Tzudiker,my grandfather, became an orphan at the age of 5. Only his brother,Srul,was with him. They were raised by their aunt and uncle in Warsaw. Avram-Ber and Chana Wechter had some children:Chaya-my grandmother-Tauba,Gedalia,Hava,Roza,Elka and Shaye.

My grandmother was working as a servant in Warsaw when MOshe,my grandfather met her. They moved to Sokolow-Podlaski and gave birth to 5 children:Tauba,Ze'ev(velvo)-my father,Yosl-Yoshua,Mirele and Rachel.
