In SE Galicia, 44 miles SE of Ternopil (Tarnopol).
Husiatyń is divided by the Zbrucz River, which was the border between the Austrian and Russian Empires. Most of the Jews lived in the Austrian part.
The Russian part was in the Kamenets district of Podolia gubernia. |
