ScopeNational Jewish Welfare Board, Army-Navy Division, Papers 1917-1955. As #I-180, this collection deals with the branch of the JWB that interceded for the needs and interests of Jewish military personnel. The Army-Navy Division name was officially introduced in 1918. This collection takes up 343 boxes. It consists mainly of surveys, reports, photographs, and correspondence of JWB personnel and U.S. Military chaplains, directed toward or concerned with the Jewish men in the Armed Forces.

This collection contains scattered information on individuals. A box list is available for the collection.
