Type / Call #Personal / P-253Contains correspondence between Bloom and Edward Coleman, librarian of the American Jewish Historical Society, regarding the George Washington Bicentennial celebration, and questions about American Jewish history. (1933-1938). Also contains an invitation to attend President Coolidge's address on the Washington Bicentennial (1927), and Bloom's certificate of nomination as alternate representative to the first session of the United Nations General Assembly, signed by Harry Truman (1945). A photograph of Bloom is included in the collection, as well as originals of two political cartoons in which Bloom is pictured.
