Sanford Lewis Solender's education and work as a social worker at the Bronx House (1936-1939) and the Madison House (1940-1941); Executive director of the Council Educational Alliance in Cleveland, OH (1942-1948); an executive in the National Jewish Welfare board (1948-1948); Mt. Vernon Board of Education (1958-1964); Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York (1970-1982); and Oral Memoirs (1982); and material relating to Sanford Solender's children: Stephen, Susan, Peter, and Ellen (1946-1989); and grandfather (1890).
